Flixx is an ERC20 standard token. The supply will be fixed at the beginning and no mining — or any kind of token creation — will be possible after the initial contract setup.

As Flixx is a token needed in order to use Flixxo platform, the purpose of the pre-sale is to grant priority and early access to those who participated in the event. Flixx tokens are not an equity representation of the company.
A total of 1,000,000,000 (one billion) Flixx tokens will be issued. A maximum of 300,000,000 (three hundred million) tokens will be sold. Some of these tokens (not more than 33% or 100,000,000 Flixx) may be sold with anticipation of the token allocation event to strategic investors.

Flixxo Token Sale (ICO) will start on OCTOBER 24th, 2017 14:00hs CET.
Crowdsale will run for 30 days.

Flixx price will be set at a fixed rate of 1 Flixx = 0,00025 ETH (1 ETH = 4000 Flixx). Hard Cap is set at 75,000 ETH (however with the discounts rates applied on the first days of ICO we expect to have a Cap of around 50K ETH). With that sum we would be able to develop the platform, incentivize the production of original content and deploy a worldwide marketing strategy.
Minimum CAP of 7,500 ETH would let us develop the platform, incentivize content and build up a digital marketing and communication campaign. In case of not reaching the soft cap, all the funds will be returned.

All the videos that you watch on your favourite platforms are stored and distributed using very expensive centralized servers, messing up and increasing the price of the content. On the actual models the options are paying for a subscription to watch a lot of media you may not be interested in, to spend a ridiculous amount of money on the videos that you really love, or to watch advertisement in exchange for content, which leaves producers with almost no return on their investment.

On Flixxo all users share any content they have on their device with the rest of the community. So, instead of an expensive centralized server, the information is distributed and shared through the network using Bittorrent protocol. Have you ever used Popcorn Time? This works in the same way.

If you ask the people around you what would they rather do - watch a short video presenting something or read an article that describes the exact same aspect - most of them would choose the first option. Without doubt, it is more attractive and more easy to simply look at some recording than read a page or two. This is why videos are the most popular and some of the most efficient types of online content. Moreover, these types of materials are simple to share. The global market of social media platforms prove that hundreds of millions of dollar are directed toward creation of video content. Now, estimates show that more than 70% of the web servers are used for video storing. Because of the huge costs of storage and bandwidth, only a few major platforms are sharing this highly profitable industry.

Adrian Garelik, a cinema producer and a scriptwriter (“To fool a thief”, “Unsubscribe”)
involved in online content distribution since 1998 (dyzo.com, filmika.com, CinePop!),
started this project in late 2014 when he first heard of Bitcoin. In that moment, the
quest of developing a democratic and open video distribution platform turned into the
foundation of RSK Labs (aka Rootstock), a company dedicated to implementing
smart contract capabilities to Bitcoin. In 2017 he teamed up with Federico Abad, the
UX/UI professional who created Popcorn Time, the most popular streaming
application ever developed (and recognized as one of the first mainstream DAPP).

Popcorn Time relies on unlicensed content, which was the incentive for having more
than 100M downloads worldwide. Then Pablo Carbajo joined them, a cryptocurrencies
expert who built-up Riecoin (listed as RIC on Poloniex - among other exchanges), a
long standing and respected altcoin after Bitcoin. The team has also engaged Javier
D´Ovidio, CEO of Edrans, a company with more than 100 employees, with offices in
Buenos Aires, Barcelona, London and Las Vegas, which focuses on big data and
artificial intelligence. Together they have the drive, knowledge and experience required
to successfully carry out a project like this.
