Mid April, already meaningfully into Q2. Still no GameGrid (promised the beginning of Jan). Still no fork (due second week of Feb). Still no new magical wallet (promised Q3 or 4 2018, I think). No new games, total silence from LuckyTap who were supposedly their ‘premium partner’ for GameGrid and were meant to launch some revolutionary dice game last year.
The only thing they’ve really achieved this entire quarter is launching a duplicate website for GameGrid (GameGrid.pro, but GameGrid.network is weirdly still up) and adding a few more coins to their trading platform. They’ve added Hive, another dead shitcoin, and seem to have bizarrely made a play to adopt the hive community (which appears to be made up of people who have almost no understanding of how trading platforms work, so about the same caliber of investors that Ionomy usually attracts). Hive’s a splinter project from another shitcoin, so will obviously be dead in 18 months or so.
Again, absolutely 100% classic Ionomy. Massive promises, little to no delivery.
If you weren’t convinced this was utter turd before, you should be now. This all appears to be wrapped up in a ‘consulting’ brand Matlack and Broyhill, along with others, have in Proven Stack, which now seems to have taken the place of are as Matlack’s umbrella business.
They don’t seem to have many if any actual clients, there’s very little info online about them and nothing to showcase any actual projects they’ve delivered.
No one gives a shit. The ionomy discord has probably had more posts from Libra spambots than actual participants this week. There’s almost no liquidity in the market. Despite their efforts to get more interest from the hive community, it doesn’t seem to have had a measurable effect on their core community at all.
There’s only really Nihilas and Korvas left who seem to consistently post positively about the project'
Realistically everyone with a brain has already left. The only people who continue to ‘believe’ in the project are the likes of Nihilas, who is clearly as dumb as rocks, and Korvas, who can barely put a coherent sentence together about Ion without using the words ‘years of work finally coming to fruition’. LeoJavi hangs around a bit, and is the only person who consistently retweets about ion at all.
Looking at Matlack’s twitter it looks like he had a nice holiday in March, though, so there’s that.
