Have you ever been in this situation before? You told your friends that you are investing in Bitcoin or altcoins, those who are interested came to you and asked you how to do it. You started to explain to them about how to buy, save and trade cryptocurrency and they stopped you halfway. They stopped you because it is more complicated than they thought, and often, this cause them to lose their “appetite”. They consider buying cryptocurrency as a thing for “geek” or someone with a specific background. This is not supposed to be the case and Saifu aims to tackle this problem.
I like the logo of Saifu very much. I think the two rings can represent the fiat world and the crypto world, which should be linked together and not separated. So what is Saifu? Saifu is a platform where you can buy cryptocurrency with fiat, store it and use it for payment, all in one place! Moreover, they also provide services of a traditional bank like money transfer, prepaid card etc.
Services offered by Saifu
The most important thing that you should know about Saifu is that Saifu is a licensed banking institution, they already have the banking license from the Czech Republic. It means that Saifu is always regulated by law and enforcements, which is a good thing for us, as a user.
We trust the banks with our money because of the powerful security. So can we trust Saifu to look after our cryptocurrency? The answer to this question is a big YES. Saifu has a partnership with THALES. For those who are not familiar with this French company, Thales is a world leader in cryptographic security products and they provide security solutions to companies like Google, Microsoft and Samsung. With the technologies from Thales, your Bitcoins will certainly be safe in your Saifu account. More details about the security layers can be found in their whitepaper.

Would you like to hear more great things about Saifu? Here’s another one. Saifu is already operating and has some clients using their beta. I have to admit that the app looks very sleek in picture. Using the app, it will only take you a few minutes to buy/sell Bitcoin or Ethereum. Besides, you can also use the app to transfer fiat or to pay for stuffs.

Yes, everything sounds wonderful and now you want to know about their ICO. I am not asking you to invest in this project but if you would like to, please DYOR before. The ICO is running until 30th April, so you still have plenty of time for research. The acronym of their token is SFU and is an ERC20 token. One SFU will cost you 0.0001 BTC. The minimum investment is only 1$, it is great for small investors like me. 65% of the total supply (200M) will be sold during the ICO. All the unsold tokens will be burnt. The market cap of this project is just around 130M, which is very small for such a project (it means potential huge gain).
In conclusion, I like this project very much. Saifu is trying to make cryptocurrency available for everyone, in everyday life. I cannot deny that Saifu is positioning itself in a competitive environment, with competitors like Bankera, Crypterium and Monaize. However, Saifu is the only one with bank license. Their partnership with Thales also make them shine brighter than the others. If we wish for the wide adoption of cryptocurrency in the future, then we need a project like Saifu.
